  • Adults range from 8-10 mm with 16-20 mm wingspans.
  • They are known for their two-tone out wing color featuring a yellowish-gray upper half and bronze, copper, or dark gray lower half.
  • This particular species of moth are disruptive to humans because the larvae can infest dry goods. This includes food products such as cereal, bread, rice, flour, and nuts.
  • Infested food will often be webbed together and it is highly recommended to throw away any food sources that are not tightly sealed.
