Bed bug treatment questions from Morehead City

How did I get bed bugs?

Usually by carrying them in. Bed bugs hitchhike in suitcases, clothing, shoes and boxes, then settle close to where people sleep. A clean home does not keep them out.

Can bed bugs come home from a Crystal Coast rental or a trip?

Yes. They travel in luggage from wherever you stay. After a trip, vacuum the suitcase, wash clothes in hot water and dry them on the highest setting. The EPA bed bug guide has more prevention tips.

How much does bed bug treatment cost?

It depends on the size of the infestation and your home. The inspection is free, you get a proposal before treatment starts, and new residential customers get 15% off bed bug control.

Do bed bugs only live in beds?

No. They also infest couches and other cushioned furniture, and they hide in electrical outlets, wallpaper and behind baseboards. They feed at night, then hide for up to a couple of weeks between meals.

Do you treat bed bugs in Beaufort, Atlantic Beach and Newport?

Yes. Our Morehead City office serves Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Newport and the rest of Carteret County.
