Where do Ticks Live?

Eventually the tick will drop off, molt, then begin the hunt for a larger host. This is the phase where ticks usually affect pets and people. Ticks are often found in wooded or grassy areas where they drop off of their initial host and wait for a larger host. Areas with a lot of tall grass, sticks, trees or shrubs serve as great places for ticks to grab onto a large host.
